With Novi's Homepage Settings modal, updating your website's homepage is quick and simple. Below is a breakdown of how to add/edit content to each section.
"Top Featured" Section
This section allows you to highlight events, news articles, static pages & products that you've added to your website.
To add or remove content from the Top Featured section:
Go to your homepage and click on the Homepage Settings box.
Next, add any content you want to be displayed in this section. If you are using the carousel option, you may find this information handy.
You can also remove any content that you no longer wish to highlight and re-order content by dragging and dropping them in the order you want.
Don't forget to Save & Close!
"Slider" Section
Like the Top Featured section, the Slider section allows you to highlight events, news articles, static pages & products that you've added to your website. You can show up to three pieces of content at a time. If multiple items are added, or the user is on a smaller screen (e.g. mobile), sliding scroll arrows will appear so that your members can scroll through the additional content.
To add or remove content from the Slider section:
Go to your homepage and click on the Homepage Settings box.
In the pop-up modal, scroll down to the Homepage Slider section. Then, follow the same instructions above for Top Featured.
Don't forget to Save & Close!
"Sponsors" Section
While this area may be titled the Sponsors section, you can use it to showcase any people or companies for other reasons, such as member of the month or award winners.
Add from Frontend
To add or remove members from the Sponsors section:
Go to your homepage and click on the Homepage Settings box.
Scroll down to the Sponsors section.
Start typing in the name of an individual or company record.
Note, this will pull that record and the existing image for that record. To change the image, go to that record's Details tab on the backend and update the logo/headshot there. Changes will be reflected in real-time.
Add from Backend
There's also an alternative way to add a Sponsor to the homepage, which can be useful if you're already on the backend adding a logo to the record.
Go to the record on the backend > Settings tab
In the Website Visibility section, check the box for Display in Sponsors Section of Home Page
Once you click the Save button on the record, the Sponsors section of the homepage will be updated in real-time.
