Additional security measures to help limit and block SPAM from going to your members
If someone is sending repeated messages (spam) to your contact forms, Association Admins can use the new Email Blocklist to block the sender from sending additional messages.
Also new, the Contact Form Limit setting limits the number of messages a user can send via the member-to-member contact form. The system will check a few different identification points for users to enforce this limitation. We've placed a default limit, but this can be changed at any time in your Association Settings > Membership tab. Thanks to James from the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce for this suggestion!
Multiple updates to dues invoices
With dues renewal season kicking off for our calendar year customers, we wanted to add in some new features for all customers that could help improve on dues renewals. Here's a quick overview:
Track when and if you sent dues invoices with the new Last Sent Date Column- Under the Transactions tab in Accounting and on a record, there is a new option to show the Last Sent Date for an invoice. Bonus! It applies to all invoices sent through Novi, not just dues invoices.
Edit the Display Order for Dues Rules - Drag and drop the dues rules to change the display order. This will affect all areas, including the checkout cart on the frontend website and the invoice/sales receipt.
We've cleaned up the display of dues rules with custom fields when new members join. Now custom fields will display on separate lines and any proration will be noted in parenthesis making it easier for your member to understand what they are paying for.
Other Quick Updates
Clearer language on the Pay Balance tab of the Member Compass with contextual information regarding their membership.
Ability to push security groups to Higher Logic.
For those displaying the Upcoming Events section on your homepage, we’ve updated the View Calendar link to take your users directly to the event list view for a cleaner appearance.
Relabeled the Cancel option on the Non-Renew & Credit function to Save & Close so it's more clear what action admins are taking.
Cleaner event agenda look.
