In the Member Compass, the Pay Balance screen displays different messages depending on the status of the balance, the Member's status, the user's permissions (if they have management access to a company, when applicable), and if the membership is individual or company-based.

Individual Memberships
Open Dues Invoice
If there is an open dues invoice, the balance screen will display no matter the status of the member (Prospect, Pending, Current, Expired). If there is an open dues invoice, this is what users will see.
No open invoices:
If the member's status is Current and they have no open balance, the message is:
"You're all Paid Up! Thanks for staying up to date with your payments."
If the member's status is Prospect or Non-Member, the the message is:
"You do not have a current membership. Don't miss out, join today!" with a link to Join Now.
If the member's status is Expired, the message displayed is:
"Your membership has expired. Don't miss out, click to renew!" With a link to Renew Now. This is what would appear after someone has been Non-Renewed and Credited.
Company-Based Memberships that flow benefits to staff:
If the Parent has an open dues invoice:
These options will display no matter the status of the parent member. (Prospect, Pending, Current, Expired) If there is an open dues invoice, this is what users will see.
If the User has management access, they will see the balance information here:
If the User does NOT have management access, they will see the message:
"You have no outstanding invoices. If you are looking for the balance due on your membership, please contact us." with a link to Contact Us.
If the Parent is a prospect with no open dues invoice:
If the User has management access, they will see the message:
"You do not have a current membership. Don't miss out, join today" with a link to Join Now.
If the User does NOT have management access, they will see the message "You do not have a current membership. Interested? Contact us today" with a link to Contact Us.
If the Parent is Expired with no open dues invoice:
If the User has management access, they will see the message "Your membership has expired. Don't miss out, click to renew!" with a link to Renew Now.
If the User does NOT have management access, they will see the message "You do not have a current membership. Interested? Contact us today" with a link to Contact Us.
