OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS

Keep Your Financial Transactions Numbered and Organized

Stop QuickBooks from activating custom transaction numbers

QuickBooks' custom transaction numbers are helpful if you have a complex system for numbering invoices. Otherwise, enabling this setting can lead to transactions without transaction numbers that can be tough to track down!

To make sure your custom transaction numbers stay OFF and QuickBooks Online doesn't revert your setting, you can now permit Novi to automatically disable the setting.

Just visit your Association Settings and jump to the QuickBooks tab. There, you'll find the new “Force QuickBooks to disallow custom transaction numbers" setting!

Plus, if custom transaction numbers are ever turned on, you'll see a note in your Daily Digest confirming we've disabled them for you.

Conveniently See Each Member's Education Credits in One Spot

Credits now have their own sub-tab in member records

Each person's continuing education history now has its own sub-tab on the backend!

In a member record's Engagement section, visit the new Credits sub-tab to see all credits they've earned, whether they were added directly to the member's timeline or awarded via event attendance. That means no more searching under the Events sub-tab for credits that were manually awarded!

Make Sure Your Invoices Reach the Right Party

Smart renewal emails will always be directed to the billable party's best contact

Billing situations can get complicated, especially when multiple purchasers are involved! To keep things simple, smart renewal emails will always go to the billable party's main Billing Contact.

That means if a person is on an invoice's "Bill To" line, the smart renewal will go to that person directly — even if they are not the purchaser.

Meanwhile, if a company is on the "Bill To" line, the smart renewal will go to its Billing Contact. If there isn't a Billing Contact listed, the smart renewal will then go to the company's main email address, followed by the company's Primary Contact if the company record does not have an email address.
