Email Event Attendees

Learn how to send custom emails to event attendees.

When a person registers for an event, Novi will automatically send an event confirmation email. The messages on these emails can be customized by ticket type.

If you'd like to email all attendees currently registered, you can do so through either MailChimp or Constant Contact.

To link an event to MailChimp or Constant Contact, go to the Settings tab of the event. From there, under Event Emails, create a MailChimp or Constant Contact list by typing in an Interest Group name. Recommended: Use the event's name to keep things simple.

Once you save your work, Novi will begin syncing attendees for which you have an email address. 

Please Note: The settings in the screenshot above are not related. 

  • The reminder email from Novi is a basic email with standard messaging.

  • The sync to MailChimp or Constant Contact allows you to create a unique message to send to the recipients.


A Note for Events with a Private Link

If your event's location is set to Online with a Private Link, you can download the Attendee list to a CSV file and include each attendee's unique URL in a mail/email merge.
