Transactional Emails are one-to-one emails that are sent programmatically. These emails are 'triggered' by a user's interaction with Novi AMS when someone registers for an event, joins as a new member, resets their password, etc. They’re different from email marketing campaigns because they are sent individually rather than in bulk.

Marketing Campaigns and Emails are planned and strategically sent to your email lists via your third-party email provider. Users must "opt-in" to receive your marketing emails. Novi AMS can help manage your email lists utilizing the groups feature if you have a MailChimp or Constant Contact account.
