Email Event Attendees

Learn how to send custom emails to event attendees.

When a person registers for an event, Novi will automatically send an event confirmation email. The messages on these emails can be customized by ticket type.

To email all attendees currently registered, attendees can be synced directly to MailChimp or Constant Contact.

To link an event to MailChimp or Constant Contact, go to the Settings tab of the event. From there, under Event Emails, create a MailChimp or Constant Contact list by typing in an Interest Group name. Recommended: Use the event's name to keep things simple, but limit characters to less than 30 ideally.

  • The reminder email from Novi includes all information from the confirmation email, except financial information and QR codes.

  • The sync to MailChimp or Constant Contact allows you to create a unique message to send to the recipients.


A Note for Events with a Private Link

If an event's location is set to Online with a Private Link, download the Attendee list to a CSV file and include each attendee's unique URL in a mail/email merge.
