Email Event Attendees or Purchasers

Learn how to send custom emails to event registrants.

When someone registers for an event, Novi automatically sends them a confirmation email. You can customize the messaging on these confirmation emails by ticket type. Learn more here: Event Ticket Setup - Confirmation Email Verbiage.

If you need to resend confirmations, you can manually resend them to registrants or purchasers from the attendee list. Learn more here: Manual Event Confirmation Email

Outside of these options, if you want to send custom emails to all registrants, attendees and purchasers can be synced directly to Mailchimp or Constant Contact:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of the event.

  2. Under Integrations, toggle on Mailchimp or Constant Contact.

  3. Optionally, check the box to automatically stop syncing 30 days post-event

  4. Optionally, check the box if you would also like to sync non-attending purchasers' emails.

The sync to Mailchimp or Constant Contact allows admins to create a unique message to send to the recipients.

A Note for Events with a Private Link

If an event's location is set to Virtual with a Private Virtual Link, download the Attendee list to a CSV file and include each attendee's unique URL in a mail/email merge.
