Promo codes can be customized to meet an association's business practices in a number of ways.

Accessible By

Limit who can use a promo code.

Ecommerce & Event Promo Codes

  • Logged In Members (single use)

  • Logged In Members (unlimited use)

  • Members & Guests (unlimited use)

  • Admin Only

Membership Promo Codes

  • Members & Guests (unlimited use)

  • Admin Only

Note: The reason membership promo codes only include the "Members & Guests" option is because these promo codes are only applicable to new or manually-renewed memberships. Meaning that someone using this promo code would not be considered a member in the system at the time of use, making the "Logged In Members" options irrelevant.

Start Date & Time

Set the date and time after which the promo code will be valid.

End Date & Time

Set the date and time before which the promo code will be valid.

Total Quantity Available

Set the total number of times that a promo code can be used.  Quantity limitations are enforced on website visitors as well as admin users, on a per user basis.

The per user basis ties into whether the setting for Logged In Members/Members & Guests is single use or unlimited use:

  • If Single use, the promo code can be used 1 time no matter what the total quantity.

  • If Unlimited use with a total quantity set, the promo code can be used until the quantity limit is reached. Leaving the quantity empty allows a promo code to be used as many times as it is applied.
