Automating Featured Directory Listings - Coming soon!
This enhancement takes one of the highest-value revenue tools - the Featured Directory Listing - and removes the manual lift.
This new automation is powered by a two-part feature enhancement.
First, within each directory, you'll be able to determine who should be featured by selecting a group or committee. As members are added or removed from the group/committee, they'll automatically be featured, or no longer featured.
The second part of the automation comes from a new group condition based on your Dues Rules. For example, if you sell a Featured Directory Listing as an optional dues rule, a member's purchase or renewal of this dues rule will automatically include them in the group.
Key Use Cases
Automatically grant featured listings when a member buys the add-on during new membership, renewal, or as a standalone purchase.
Automatically grant access to education classes when a member purchases a Class Pass subscription.
Build a directory of members who have donated to your Foundation when a member donates using an optional dues rule during new membership or renewal.
Impact & Why It Matters
Eliminates manual record-by-record updating.
Fully automates the lifecycle: add when purchased, remove if dropped.
Many Novi customers generate tens of thousands of dollars using this feature. Enhance that impact by automating the operational process of featuring the member.
Pro Tip: Associations looking to scale directory revenue or reduce admin workload should adopt this immediately when released.
Event Cancellation Enhancements - Coming soon!
This highly requested update expands cancellation options while ensuring accurate accounting.
A redesigned cancellation workflow streamlining and enabling:
Cancel a registration and re-register for another ticket or event
Credit card refunds even when the original payment came through an invoice
Refunds as a credit memo instead of credit card/ACH
Key Use Cases
You want to transfer a registration to another event
Someone registered for the wrong ticket
Someone cancels outside of your refund policy but you want to issue them a credit to use in another way with the association (like towards dues!)
Impact
Reduces refund friction
Protects revenue
Provides accurate accounting without manual adjustments
Saves your staff time
This update prepares associations to handle cancellations cleanly, without extra steps or losing money unnecessarily.
Payment Plans - Coming Soon!
Payment Plans are the most transformative release in this demo. They enable structured, automated installment payments for any invoice - without requiring staff intervention and allowing for premiums.
There are two ways for payment plans to be used:
1. Member-Driven (Self-Enrollment)
Members select “Pay Over Time” during checkout for eligible items.
2. Admin-Driven (Case-by-Case Exceptions)
Admins allow payment plans to be available only on specific invoices.
Key Use Cases
High-dollar sponsorship packages
Annual dues for members needing cash-flow flexibility
Expensive conference or gala tickets
Why You Might Prioritize Payment Plans
Removes barriers to buying large tickets and sponsorships
Generates revenue you may have otherwise lost
Automates collection (recurring card charges)
Includes a built-in premium to offset risk and working capital delay
Protects associations with required opt-in acknowledgment
Provides clean accounting (invoices stay open until fully paid and become overdue if defaulted)
Important Details
Credit card only
Members must self-authorize
Early payoff allowed (premium remains)
Pro Tip: For associations wanting to increase sponsorship revenue or support members who need payment flexibility, this feature should be adopted immediately at release.
