New Features & Updates
🌟 In the Spotlight 🌟
📊 Clearer Insights into Membership Trends with the Enhanced Membership Change Report
We’ve refreshed the Membership Change Summary Report to help you quickly spot trends, measure performance, and confidently share insights with leadership.
What’s new:
Interactive chart views with cleaner, more intuitive visuals, allowing you to switch between Summary, Net Change, and Percentage Rate perspectives and analyze trends over time with confidence
Expanded metrics now include renewals, as well as adds, drops, and ending member counts
Detailed list views that show the actual members behind each metric, making it easy to see who is driving the numbers
New filter to exclude unpaid dues, giving you a more accurate view of active, paying membership
These updates make it easier to evaluate membership health over time and tell a clearer story based on data.

🗓️ Track Long-Term Engagement with Original Join Date
We’ve expanded the Original Join Date field to all records that currently have – or previously had – membership benefits, so you can have a clearer picture of historical engagement across all benefit levels.
This is especially useful for tracking how long inheriting individuals have been connected to your association. The Original Join Date reflects the first time a record ever held membership. This could be different from a parent company's Original Join Date based on when an inheriting individual was first connected to a member company.

🌐 Website Links Now Display Across Directory Profiles
Website links that previously appeared only in select areas are now more visible across profiles:
In main directory list views
On individual people-based directory profiles
This makes member websites easier to find and keeps directories more useful as a networking and promotion tool – especially for professional societies where individuals rely on visible website links to showcase their work or organization.

🧾 Improved Access to Invoices Billed to a Parent Company
Members can now see and pay all invoices they personally created, even when those invoices were billed to their parent company who they may not have management access to.
For example: If John Smith registers for an event and bills the invoice to his parent company, ABC Company, he can now see and pay that invoice in Member Compass - even without management access - instead of wondering where it went.
Note: This does not change access to invoices created by other users.

Other New & Noteworthy Updates ✏️
📝 Copy Blog Articles for Quick Content
No more copying and pasting source code! You can now copy an existing blog article to repurpose that content with ease. Just click the dropdown arrow to the right of any article from the backend and select "Copy".

⚡ Faster Admin Performance for Loading Member Records
We’ve improved load speeds across member records in the admin. Organizations with large datasets should notice smoother navigation and faster access – helping your team work more efficiently throughout the day.
🔔 Stay on Top of Census Responses with New Notifications
No more missed census responses! You’ll now see a notification indicator when census responses need attention – similar to notifications for recent signups or tasks.
From there, you can jump straight to the Census dashboard and review where responses have been submitted from the Needs Review column.
→ Learn More: Reviewing & Managing Census Responses
✉️ Clearer Census Emails with Company Name Merge Tag
You can now add the merge tag [[Name]] to a Census email subject line and body:
For company-based member types, this displays the company name
For individual member types, it displays the person’s full name
This is especially helpful for recipients who manage multiple companies and need to quickly see which company requires updates.

✉️ Investigate Failed Emails Faster with a New “Resolved” Filter
We've added a new Resolved filter to your Transactional Emails Log, making it easier to focus only on emails that still need attention. Resolved items are excluded by default, helping you cut through the noise, but you can adjust the filter at any time if you need to review them again.
Pro tip: Click the Not Successful box at the top to quickly filter to all emails with a Failed or Bounced status, and keep Exclude Resolved Items = Yes to stay focused on what still needs action.

🔍 Improved Directory Search with Partial Name Matching
Directory search is now more forgiving and powerful thanks to split-token search, matching the logic used in the admin when searching for records.
What this means:
Members can be found using partial first or last names
Multi-part last names are easier to discover
Searches like “Anna Lopez” will now return results even if the record displays as Anna S. Lopez
This ensures members are easier to find across records included in your directories.
