Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges

Access your Novi Pay portal and create custom invoices/sales receipts with this enhanced admin role

Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges is a user role for bookkeepers and accountants working in Novi and using Novi Pay as the payment processor.

This role has full access to all backend functionality in Novi and can edit any page on the front-end website. Unlike standard Association Admins, they can create one-off sales receipts and invoices outside of Novi’s standard dues, events, or ecommerce framework.


Review All Admin Users & Roles

To review all admin users of your website, along with their assigned roles, you can use your Admin Users report.

  1. Click the Gear icon in the top right of the backend database.

  2. Click Admin Users

From the Manage Admin Users list, you can Remove admins and Edit their role.


Assigning Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges

The Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges role can only be assigned by other users with the same role, ensuring controlled access to these enhanced permissions.

This role is assigned to users whose username matches the users with access to your connected QuickBooks account. However, if your association does not currently have an Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges user assigned, reach out to Novi through Intercom (the "Blue Bubble") or by emailing help@noviams.com.


Features for Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges

In addition to the standard Association Admin role, the Association Admin with Special Accounting Privileges will be able to:

  • Access to Novi Pay Account Details & Documents

    • Retry failed batch reconcile transactions

    • Issue manual, custom refunds

  • Create custom one-off transactions in Novi outside the standard dues, events, or eCommerce framework

  • [Future] Set up recurring transactions and payment plans
