πŸ“Œ Notice: Terms Updated

We made two minor updates to our SaaS Agreement Terms to reflect Novi Pay as a payment processing option for our customers. Those changes were made to Section 1(d) and Section 4(b)(i).

🌟 In the Spotlight 🌟

🎟️ Dynamic Ticket Pricing: Fewer Tickets, More Flexibility

Event ticket pricing got a major upgrade! You can now set multiple pricing ranges within a single ticket type, eliminating the need to create dozens of separate tickets to handle early bird pricing, price increases, or quantity discounts.

Choose from two powerful pricing options – by date or by quantity – to automatically adjust pricing based on when someone registers or how many tickets they purchase. Each option is designed to give you more control while keeping ticket setup clean and easy to manage.

🎟️ Add Dependent Tickets After Initial Event Registration

Novi now recognizes when an event registrant has already purchased a required main event ticket, making it easy for them to return later and purchase dependent tickets (tickets set to Requires Purchase of Another Ticket Type) in a separate transaction.

Previously, dependent tickets could only be added by an admin on a member’s behalf after registration. With this update, members can take care of it themselves β€” saving time for both your team and your attendees. ✨

🧩 Build Groups Based on Dues Rules

Segmenting your members is now even easier. Groups can be built using individual dues rules, allowing you to organize members based on what they’ve purchased during their current term – perfect for building groups based on contributions, sponsorships, or optional benefits.

⭐ Automate Featuring Members Within Directories

Featuring members is now more flexible and automated! Many organizations use featured directory listings as a source of non-dues revenue, but managing those listings has often required manual updates. Now, you can use dynamic groups or committees to feature members within specific directories.

This allows you to automate featured listings such as those tied to paid placements or sponsorships, so members are featured or removed automatically as eligibility changes (based on your group/committee conditions).

β†’ Bonus: Want to learn how to maximize this feature as a non-dues revenue generator? Check out our recent Developer Demo where we explored this in-depth: Driving Your Association's Revenue (Jump to 11:02)

The featured checkbox on a member record now indicates whether a member should always be featured across all directories. If you take no action, everything will continue to work exactly as it does today.

This was built from customer feedback to help reduce repetitive work and make these programs easier to scale. πŸš€

πŸ’³ Set Payment Terms for New Member Dues

You now have more flexibility when welcoming new members, with payment terms that better support your association’s internal processes. Payment terms can be set specifically for new members (or rejoining members treated as new) and are configurable per Member Type.

πŸ“ˆ Revenue Change Report Enhancements

We've revamped the Revenue Change Report so you can get a clearer view of your financial performance and more easily analyze revenue trends across multiple timeframes, fiscal years, and comparison periods.

Other New & Noteworthy Updates ✏️

πŸ“¬ Include More Colleagues on Daily Digest Emails

Good news for teams! We've increased the character limit in the Daily Digest Recipient(s) field in your Association Settings, making it easier to include everyone on staff who needs to stay in the loop.

πŸ“Š Member Health Added to the Upcoming Renewals Report

Your renewal insights just got stronger. Member Healthβ„’ data is now built directly into the Upcoming Renewals Report as a default, configurable column and filter – giving you a clearer picture of engagement as renewal time approaches. Additional member fields can be added from the gear icon in List View.

πŸ“£ Sync Event Purchaser Emails to Mailchimp or Constant Contact

Staying connected with all event participants is easier than ever. Event purchaser emails can now be synced directly to Mailchimp or Constant Contact with optional controls to stop syncing after the event.
