π Event Revenue at a Glance β No Manual Calculations
Getting a clear picture of your event's financial performance just got a lot faster. Net Revenue now displays automatically at the top right of the Event "Stage", so the moment you open an event, you can see how it's performing without running a separate report or crunching numbers manually.
For a deeper breakdown, the Event Tickets list now includes optional columns for Gross Revenue, Discount, and Net Revenue per ticket type. Whether you're managing early-bird pricing, promo codes, or multiple ticket tiers, you'll know exactly where your revenue is coming from at a glance.

π Smarter Census Management for Admins
Several updates this release make Census administration meaningfully easier for high-volume workflows.
Customizable Census Reminder Emails β The Census reminder email is now fully customizable, so you can clearly communicate deadlines, expectations, or consequences when a census isn't completed on time. This is especially useful when timely completion affects member benefits or standing.

Admin Completed Census Responses β Admins can now mark a census as completed on behalf of a member. When member data has been confirmed outside of the Census β via email, phone, or another channel β there's no need to chase the member down for a formal submission.

Back to Census Navigation β A new "Back to Census" link in the top left of any Census makes it quick to return to the main list without extra clicks.
Headshot Now Available as a Census Field β The Headshot/Photo field can now be included in your Census, allowing you to collect updated profile photos as part of your standard data collection process. This makes it easier to keep member profiles current across directories and other front-facing areas of your site.
π Abandoned Cart Notifications for Event Registration
Don't let interested attendees slip through the cracks. Admins can now configure abandoned cart-style email notifications for members who start but don't finish registering for an event. Novi will send a configurable follow-up email to bring them back to the checkout β a simple, automated way to recover potentially lost registrations without any manual follow-up from your team.

π€ Less Friction for Individuals Joining After a Company Membership Lapses
People associated with an expired member company can now complete the Individual membership join flow entirely on their own β no admin involvement required. If someone wants to stay connected to your association even after their company's membership lapses, they can do it seamlessly. It's a better experience for the member, and one less interruption for your team.
Note: This applies to hybrid associations with both company and individual memberships.

π³ Enable Payment Plans on Open Invoices
Members now have more flexibility when it comes to managing their balances. Admins can now make payment plans available on open invoices, giving members the ability to opt-in and spread out payments over time rather than paying in full upfront. This can reduce friction around revenue collection and make membership and engagement more accessible.

π§Ύ Introducing the Sales Tax Center
Sales tax settings in Novi now live in one centralized place. The new Tax Center (Association Settings β Tax Center) brings together everything you need to configure how tax works across products, event tickets, and checkout.
From here, you can enable or disable sales tax, choose between Automated Sales Tax (AST) or Classic Sales Tax, and select your tax rate β all synced directly from QuickBooks. Built-in guardrails prevent incomplete configurations from being saved, and if your QuickBooks tax settings change in a way that affects Novi, a banner will alert your team to review the setup. If you had sales tax configured previously, your settings have been automatically migrated β no action needed.

π "Days Ago" Option for Date-Based Report Conditions
Custom report conditions that use date-based fields now include a "days ago" option. This makes it easier to build dynamic, rolling reports β like "members who joined within the last 60 days" β without having to manually update date values every time you run the report.
π Updated UI for Attendee Form & Product Custom Fields
The attendee form on event tickets and the custom fields section on ecommerce products have a cleaner, more consistent look in the admin. Both have been updated from a drag-and-drop selector to a table-based layout that aligns with the rest of the Novi platform β easier to scan, easier to manage.
π§ "Send Sample Email" Restored for Membership Non-Renewal Emails
You asked, we listened! The Send Sample Email option is back for membership non-renewal emails. You can now preview and test these emails before they go out, just like other automated membership communications.
π« Exempt Pending Members from Renewal
Note: This behavior applies when multi-year initial billing is not enabled on the member type.
For associations with a formal membership approval process, Novi will no longer generate a dues invoice and renew a member who is still in Pending Approval status β even when the renewal window opens. Once a member is approved, they'll be picked up in the next renewal cycle as expected. No awkward invoices landing before a member is officially accepted.
π Dues Formula Visible in Dues Rules List View
The dues formula for each rule is now displayed directly in the Dues Rules list view. Admins can quickly scan and verify their dues setup without needing to open each rule individually β especially helpful during renewal season or after dues updates.

π· Promo Code Detail Visible on Sales Receipts and Invoices
The promo code applied to a transaction is now displayed directly on the sales receipt and invoice. No more cross-referencing reports to figure out which discount was applied β it's right there on the transaction.
π’ Record-Type Icons in the Members List When Viewing a Record
When viewing a member record, the left-side members list now displays company/person record-type icons alongside names. This makes it much easier to distinguish between records that share the same or similar names β particularly useful for medical associations and others where member businesses often share a member's name.
π Credentials Display Inline with Member Names
For associations with credentialed members, the Credentials field now displays inline with the member's name across all front-facing website displays and in the backend. Members' credentials will appear consistently wherever their name is shown β no extra configuration needed.
π Assign Activities to Staff Members
You can now assign a staff member to Notes, Meetings, Emails, and Calls logged on the Activity Timeline of a member record β not just Task activity types. This makes it easy to see not just what happened, but who on your team owns it. Activity data tied to staff assignments can also be pulled into the Activity Report, giving you a clearer picture of engagement trends across your team.

π Groups Used in Ticket Purchase/Attend Settings Are Protected from Archiving
Novi will now prevent admins from manually archiving a group that's currently being used in the Purchase or Attend settings of an event ticket. This safeguard helps avoid accidentally breaking ticket access rules.
π³ Voided Invoice Status Fixed in Product Purchase List
Voided invoices will no longer incorrectly appear as "Paid" in the Product Purchase List view. Status now accurately reflects the voided state.
πͺ Non-Management Users Can Purchase Seats on the Front End
Members without management access can now join under a company's seat-based membership directly from their Member Compass dashboard β no admin involvement required.
If the company has an available seat, the member can claim it in one click. If no seats are available, they can purchase one and will be automatically assigned to it. If the company has reached its seat maximum, they'll be prompted to join under an individual membership type instead (if one is available). Managers are automatically notified any time a non-management user claims or purchases a seat, so everyone stays in the loop.
π Novi Pay Fiserv ACH Returns Now Auto-Generate Refund Records
When a Fiserv ACH payment is returned, Novi will now automatically generate the corresponding refund record. This reduces manual work for your accounting team and keeps transaction records accurate without extra steps.
