🌟 In the Spotlight 🌟

👥 Members See Committee History in the Member Compass

Members can now see their own committee involvement directly in the Member Compass under a new My Involvement tab. No more asking association staff for a record of past and current committee terms. Go to the Details tab on any committee and toggle on Visible in the Member Compass to enable. (Make sure Public Roles are enabled too.) The My Involvement tab shows committee name, term start/end dates, and public role, sorted with current terms first.

⚡ Faster Page Loads, Site-Wide

Member Compass, Member Directories, and Blog Pages all got a serious speed boost and load faster for your website visitors.

On the backend, we also sped up how quickly members are added to the right groups after taking an action – like paying dues or updating a profile field – so members get fast access to the group's benefits.

📧 Resend a Census Without Starting Over

Did a member miss your Census email? Whether they misplaced the original or needed to update their email address, you can now easily resend it without creating a separate Census. Simply select the record(s) you’d like to reach, and use the new Resend Census Email batch action.

🔌 Clearer Alerts if QuickBooks Disconnects

If your QuickBooks Online connection drops, you'll know immediately so you can reconnect quickly and avoid a gap in your accounting sync. In addition to an onscreen pop-up message in the admin, a banner alert also appears for as long as the disconnect lasts, and the same alert goes out by email.

🔒 Raising the Bar on Bot Detection with a reCAPTCHA Upgrade

We've invested in a major upgrade to our reCAPTCHA system – adding smarter bot and fraud detection while keeping the experience seamless for real members and admins.

✉️ Launch a Direct Email to Multiple Addresses

Need to send a quick note to a committee, board, or small group? A new Send Direct Email batch action lets admins open their own email client (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) with up to 50 addresses pre-populated – directly from a group, committee, family tree, event attendee, or transaction list view. Ideal for small groups or staff-driven communication. No more manually exporting or copy-pasting email addresses.

🧾 Sales Tax on In-Person Events Can Now Follow the Venue

For associations using Automated Sales Tax, in-person event registrations can now calculate sales tax based on the event venue's address instead of the purchaser's address – a more accurate approach for most in-person events. This is configurable within your Association Settings > Tax Center.

Other New & Noteworthy Updates ✏️

💰 Accounting & Payments

  • Surcharge Fees when paid on an Invoice now follow the original billable party, so the fee always lands on the record who owes it – not whoever happens to process the payment. In addition, mandatory card fees now apply to auto-paid dues renewals and are itemized on the auto-pay success email.
→ Learn more: Ask Members to Cover Credit Card Fees

  • Dues rules can now be marked taxable, so associations required to charge tax on membership dues can do so directly from the dues rule setup.

  • New Payment Dates and Final Payment Date columns are available on the Purchases tab of any product and on the Attendees list of any event, so you can see when money was actually paid for each directly from the list views.

  • For Novi Pay - Fiserv customers, payout details now flag any transaction that isn't sitting in undeposited funds, so you can see what's blocking a deposit.

  • Finding a specific charge in Novi Pay is faster now. Search by customer or account holder name instead of hunting down the charge ID, and clickable stage filters plus clearer date labels make the list easier to scan.

📋 Membership & Record Management

  • Bulk updates to profile data now supports Auto-Renew Membership as a Profile Field, so admins can set whether selected records auto-renew or not in a batch action instead of editing each record individually.

  • Effective member type now shows right on the member detail page for inheriting members, so you can see what type they're inheriting at-a-glance.

  • We've added helper text to Census settings clarifying that Census recipients are locked once a Census is sent. If new records are later added to a group or committee used for the Census, those will not be added to a sent Census.

  • Group helper text now clarifies how Limit to Specific Records and Conditions work together – conditions filter the specific records you've selected rather than adding additional records to the group.

🎟️ Events

  • The Event Performance Report now has an Events tab with separate Detail and Summary views, so you can drill into individual events or roll results up by category depending on what you need. → Learn more: Event Performance Report

  • Ticket lists now show a "# Remaining" column, so you can see availability for limited-quantity tickets at a glance instead of doing the math yourself.

→ Learn more: Event Ticket Setup

  • If a bulk event registration fails, you'll now see which specific record(s) failed and why, so you can fix the issue and re-register them easily.

  • Event registration abandonment emails are smarter now: they check ticket-level dates and capacity, not just overall event settings, so members won't get a "complete your registration" nudge for a ticket that's already sold out or closed.

  • Dynamic ticket pricing got more flexible. Set price changes to a specific time (not just a date), edit existing pricing tiers in place instead of recreating them, and purchasers get a heads-up when a price is about to increase – a nudge that can turn hesitation into a completed registration.

🌐 Website & Content

  • Static page URLs can now include nested paths (like /awards/recipients) using forward slashes in the Friendly File Name field, so you're no longer limited to flattening your URL structure with hyphens. → Learn more: Add a New Page to Your Website

📊 Reports

  • The Revenue Change Report now only runs period-over-period comparisons when a full period is available, so you won't see a misleading comparison built on a partial month or quarter.
→ Learn more: Revenue Change Report

  • The Activity Timeline Report filters are now split into two columns, with a new relative date range option (like "Last 30 Days") added alongside the existing From/To fields, so you can scope the report faster without setting exact dates every time.
