We're excited to share the newest features released by Novi AMS!

😎 New Designs

Sidebar Navigation

The navy sidebar on the backend of Novi has been re-designed to maximize organization and efficiency with more directive sectioning for easier navigation.

Activity Timeline

The Activity Timeline has been refreshed with a modern look that also allows for the easy expansion of activities and tasks as needed for more streamlined timelines.

Task Center

The Task Center is a centralized hub for tracking tasks and the new refreshed overview gives admins better insight into what tasks need immediate attention.


Ecommerce Updates

💵 Refund Product Orders at Time of Cancellation

Paid ecommerce product orders can be refunded at the time of cancellation. Similar to event registrations, Novi will trigger the refund based on the order's original payment method, and the Cancel modal will provide details on how the refund will be processed.

💲Subscription List View Column Displays Open Transactions

Review any unpaid subscriptions by using the list view (gear icon) on the Subscriptions page to add the column called "Open Transactions." Note that this column does not display paid transactions (sales receipts or paid invoices), only unpaid invoices.

This functionality was enabled on 6/19/2024 and began displaying applicable data processed on that date or after.

🔎 Quickly Find Subscriptions Via Filter Button

A Filter button has been added to the Subscription list page that allows admins to filter by Products, if the subscription has been canceled or not, and by payment status (Paid/Unpaid).

📨 Order Notification Emails Include Purchaser Email and Phone

When new order email notifications are received, the notification now includes the purchaser's email and phone, allowing contact information to be readily available if needed.


Event Updates

👀 Event Attendee List Sub-Tabs Available

Events now have sub-tabs to allow admins to seamlessly switch lists between specific attendee list views: Registration Detail, Unique Attendees, and Companies. These list views were formerly a dropdown option, but now they are available with a quick click!

💌 Each Attendee Receives Own Event Confirmation Email Details

When a purchaser registers attendees for an event, each attendee will receive only their own attendee information in the event attendee confirmation email, including private virtual links and QR codes if applicable.

The purchaser will receive a registration summary email with all attendee information to review the registration information, including financials.

🎟️ Promo Code Tracking in Event Registrations

The Promo Code tab in events now provides hyperlinks to the Attendee tab, allowing it to be filtered by attendees who used a promo code(s), and the Filter button in the event allows for quickly finding promo code users from a list of applicable promo code.

Automatically Remove Synced Attendee Lists from Mailchimp or Constant Contact

Syncing event attendees to Mailchimp or Constant Contact is a great way to communicate with those who've registered for your event. However, once the event ends, you may not want to keep that list in your email platform forever. We've added a new option in your events' Settings tab to remove attendee roster 20 days after the event ends automatically.

Functionality Update

🔴 Task Center Notification Appears When Tasks Due Soon or Overdue

The Task Center notification in the backend of Novi will display when open tasks are due tomorrow, today, and when tasks are overdue.

Membership Update

🚨 Allow Daily Digest to Alert When $0 Memberships are Processed

Under the Settings tab of each member type, admins can turn on notifications to appear in the Daily Digest if membership is processed without the member being charged dues. This is especially useful if a member type's dues are based on custom field data, allowing admins to review if the membership should be free or not.

Integrations Update

🏷️ Mailchimp Batch Tag from Novi Groups, Committees & Events

Admins using Mailchimp can batch tag records synced to Mailchimp in Novi from Novi Groups, committees, and events.


​API Updates

Novi offers an open API, meaning that if a third-party can build an integration for you, the work to send information to them is essentially done on our end already and they can use our API documentation to get started. Recent API enhancements include:

  • Access Ecommerce Orders in Admin in API

  • Create Committees Via API
